Kidwelly Festival Choir is a mixed voice choir formed in 1984, the year of the Festival of Castles. The Choir performs a varied repertoire, from sacred and classical pieces to musical showtunes and popular songs. Our Annual Concert takes place in St. Mary's Church, Kidwelly.

Côr cymysg yw Côr Gŵyl Cydweli, a ffurfiwyd yn 1984 fel rhan o Ŵyl y Castellau. Y mae'r Côr yn canu rhaglen cymysg o gerddoriaeth, yn cynnwys y Cysegredig; y Clasurol, Tonau o'r sioeau a chaneuon poblogaidd. Cynhelir ein Cyngerdd Blynyddol yn Eglwys y Santes Fair Cydweli.

The Choir has performed at many other venues, in South Wales and beyond, including three times at the Royal Albert Hall concert for 1000 mixed voices. We are twinned with a German choir and have performed in Mannheim, Weinheim and Nieder-Liebersbach on two exchange visits. We have also raised over £10,000 for charities.

Rydym wedi perfformio mewn llawer man dros Dde Cymru a thu hwnt, gan gynnwys Neuadd Frenhinol Albert, Llundain tair gwaith, fel rhan o Fil o Leisiau Corau Cymysg. Gyfeilliwyd ein Côr gyda Chôr Nieder-Liebersbach o'r Almaen, a chynhaliwyd cyngerddau ym Mannheim, Weinheim a Nieder-Liebersbach ar ddau ymweliad. Hefyd yr ydym wedi codi dros £10,000 i elusennau gwahanol.

The Choir has been singing together for 30 years; a brief history can be found here.
